(Non)Breastfeeding Counseling
I am currently in the training to become an internationally certified breastfeeding counselor (IBCLC). I find it deeply fulfilling to support people in this time in an evidence-based and empathetic way.
With (not)breastfeeding, experiences from pregnancy or birth often come up ans can lead to challenges. If I have already accompanied you as a doula during pregnancy and/or birth, I can understand some connections and incorporate them into breastfeeding advice.
As long as I am in my training, I am offering breastfeeding counseling on a voluntary basis.
If something exceeds my competence, I consult with more experienced colleagues or refer you to them.
